Burg for Congress Statement, “The United States has more God-given energy under our soil than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined.”

(Howell, New Jersey) SUNDAY, MARCH 13, 2022 — David Burg, Republican Candidate for Congress in New Jersey’s 4th  District, issued the following statement about the ongoing disasters from the Biden Administration: “President Biden’s claim that his administration’s policies are not responsible for our record-high gasoline prices is a bald-faced lie. In fact, Biden ran on a platform of crushing our domestic oil and gas industry – and he has done everything possible to do just that as president.

On his first day in office Biden permanently shut down the critically-important Keystone Pipeline, he has closed energy production from ANWAR – which President Trump finally was able to unleash – he has terminated new energy leases on federally-owned land, and he has implemented regularly policies aimed at making energy exploration and production prohibitively expensive and inefficient.

And Biden has done this for one reason only:  He is beholden to the Marxists who now control the Democrat Party and their radical “environmental” agenda, the real purpose of which is not to “save” our planet but rather to destroy our capitalist economy. Here’s the truth:  The United States has more God-given energy under our soil than Russia and Saudi Arabia combined – times two! That’s why President Trump was able to make our beloved country energy independent for the first time in 75 years.

But in just one year Biden has destroyed all of that.  Even worse, he’s now looking to force our energy dependency on despotic places like Iran – even at the cost of a nuclear-armed Jihadist state. Biden’s policies are shameful, destructive, and contrary to the interest of every single American. It’s not surprisingly, therefore, that he lies about them.

But the real question is this:  Why isn’t EVERY Republican in Congress screaming about this mendacity from the rafters?  Why must we continue to endure feckless cowardly Republicans like the 42-year incumbent in NJ’s 4th Congressional District? Where are the Republican FIGHTERS when the American people so desperately need them?”
